All that lies beyond us

In 2013, an installation piece by Teresa Albor will be hosted by the Loyola Museum of Art in Chicago. People of all ages, faiths and nationalities are invited to participate by writing to us about their evidence that something lies beyond us. Over the life of the exhibition, submitted statements will be written on the walls of the museum.

The work is based on the writing of Evelyn Underhill, a turn of the century philosopher who believed that "...the absolute acknowledgment of all that lies beyond us... (can) be realized through religion, (but ALSO) through nature, through history, through science, art, or human life and character."

Please click PARTICIPATE, above, and write to us about why you think there is something that lies beyond us.
